On May 4, 2019, Paris Saint-Germain's Brazilian forward Neymar was seen in action during a French L1 football match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and OGC Nice at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris.
Fast forward to June 2020, Neymar has finally returned to Paris after almost three months in his home country, Brazil. The 28-year-old had traveled to his homeland in mid-March following the suspension of European football's major competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During his time in Brazil, Neymar followed a strict fitness regime while being confined to his mansion in Mangaratiba, near Rio de Janeiro. He kept fans updated with regular videos and photos of his training sessions on social media.
PSG will resume training on June 22, and reports said that Neymar could have faced a mandatory quarantine if he arrived after June 15. PSG were named France's Ligue 1 champions in May after the season was canceled amid the global health crisis.
