The Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training, a Sh3 billion project in Karen, has sparked a legal dispute between the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) and a Nairobi-based real estate consultant.
Arprim Consultant, which emerged as a finalist for the provision of consultancy services, successfully sought orders against the cancellation of the tender process.
On May 21, the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board set aside PSC's notification of termination dated April 30 and ordered the commission to complete the procurement process.
However, the High Court on June 2 allowed PSC to challenge the board's decision, allowing the tender process to be terminated.
