June 14, 2020, marked a significant day for Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho, as she finally broke her silence on the rumors surrounding her separation from her husband Pastor John Shusho.
Shusho, a mother of three, had been at the center of speculation in Tanzania and Kenya, where she has a huge fan base, after reports emerged that she had moved out of her matrimonial home and started her own church, the Dreamer Center, which is still under construction.
However, in a shocking revelation, Shusho explained that everything that has been happening is her way of responding to a new calling from God.
“Ukweli ni kwamba ni assignment tu there is nothing different other than that. Ni assignment tu ambayo nimekuta Mungu amenipa kipindi hiki. Kwa hiyo lazima nitoke niende ku fulfill assignment,” Shusho said.
She further clarified that she had a discussion with her husband before starting her own church, and they both agreed on it.
Shusho also addressed the issue of not being seen in public with her husband and not posting family pictures on social media, saying, “Siposti picha ya familia yangu sababu haileti pesa. If it doesn’t bring anything why (post)?”
