Manchester United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been under fire from Tottenham Hotspur's Jose Mourinho ahead of their highly anticipated clash on Friday.
Published on June 14, 2020, Mourinho's comments come after Solskjaer took over as United's manager following his sacking in December 2018.
Since then, Solskjaer has led United to a 2-1 victory over Tottenham at Old Trafford before Christmas, and the team currently sits four points ahead of Spurs in the table.
However, Mourinho has played down Solskjaer's success, suggesting that the Norwegian is out of his depth at United, according to a report from The Athletic.
Both teams have been stepping up preparations for the clash by hosting friendly fixtures, with United playing West Brom in two separate matches and Spurs hosting Norwich.
United's Paul Pogba and Tottenham's Harry Kane are expected to feature in the match, with Solskjaer aware of the task lying ahead for his team.
"Everyone knows that we will have to be at our best, have to be focused [against Tottenham]. We know it’s a big game for everyone," Solskjaer said earlier this month.
