On May 10, 2020, a Wikileaks file dump revealed that the ODM Party, led by Raila Odinga, received Sh1.7 billion from private interests for the 2007 General elections campaigns.

Among the donors was Gilbert Deya, a controversial preacher known for his 'miracle babies' saga. Deya's ties to the British monarch were also exposed, and he was accused of child trafficking.

According to hacker group Anonymous, Deya was part of a global pedosadist ring that 'rape, kill, maim and eat children.' A Vice investigation found that Deya was involved in the trafficking of children, who were later discovered to have disappeared.

Wikileaks revealed in a PDF attachment that Deya and his ministries, Gilbert Deya Congregation in the United Kingdom, donated Sh30.5 million to the Odinga campaigns for President in 2007.
