As New York City slowly reopens, the devastating effects of Covid-19 on its black and Latino communities are becoming increasingly apparent.
According to a longtime funeral director in Harlem, the pandemic has left deep emotional scars that will take a long time to heal.
“It’s going to take a long time for people to heal,” he said, reflecting on the trauma inflicted by the virus.
