On June 14, 2020, Kenya confirmed 137 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the national tally to 3,594.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe emphasized the importance of taking the pandemic seriously, urging Kenyans to assume that the person next to them could be positive and to protect themselves at all times.
During a tour of Othaya in Nyeri County, Kagwe said, "We must take this issue very seriously and always assume that the person next to you is positive, you must protect yourself at all times."
