On June 14, 2020, a devastating explosion rocked Honda Motor Co Ltd's plant in central Japan, sending shockwaves through the community.
According to police reports, the blast occurred at around 9:15 am local time (0015 GMT) in Honda's plant in Suzuka city, Mie prefecture.
Two workers in their 20s, who were checking the switchboard, were injured and sent to be treated at a hospital.
Honda is currently investigating the incident, with a spokesman confirming the company's efforts to determine the cause of the explosion.
