It was a plan that had been months in the making. Dre, a father, had decided to send away his nieces, Electina and Honda, after they sabotaged his mandazi business. But little did he know, the COVID-19 pandemic would soon intervene and change everything.

On a Saturday, Dre joined Electina and Honda in the kitchen to learn how to make mandazi. He had hired Anindo to prepare the mandazi the following morning, but things took a turn when Fiolina, Electina and Honda's aunt, arrived at the kitchen, furious that Anindo was cooking in her niece's kitchen without permission.

Fiolina accused Dre of taking kitchen decisions and asked the girls to carry everything outside. Anindo, however, disappeared in thin air. Dre had played his cards right, creating a conflict that would make it impossible for him to send the girls away without being angry.

But just as Dre was about to deliver the mandazi, the COVID-19 pandemic came to his rescue. He told the girls that they could not leave because of the government's policy to reduce mixing of old people and young people during the pandemic. Fiolina, who had been opposed to the girls leaving, surprisingly agreed with Dre, citing the government's policy as the reason.

Reluctantly, Dre allowed the girls to continue staying, but made it clear that they would have to leave as soon as the president opened up the country. It was a surprising twist in their living arrangements, all thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
