'Ameiba beat tena?' Kenyans mock Magix Enga after Tekashi 6ix9ine's song Trollz made it to number 1 in Kenya

On June 14, 2020, Tekashi 6ix9ine released a new song called Trollz, featuring Nicki Minaj, which quickly gained popularity in Kenya and became the number one trending song in the country.

The song, which has already garnered 60 million views in just 24 hours, has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many Kenyans taking to Twitter to mock Magix Enga, a Kenyan producer who had previously claimed that Tekashi 6ix9ine's song Gooba infringed on his copyright.

Magix Enga had taken down Gooba from YouTube, claiming that it infringed on his copyright, but Tekashi 6ix9ine's representative later revealed that Magix Enga's claim was 'fraudulent'. The song has since gained 333 million views.

Reactions to Trollz include jokes about Magix Enga listening to the beats to check if he has 'infringed on his copyright' again, with many Kenyans making fun of him on social media.

Some of the reactions include:

  • lv.sameej: Nangoja Enga a claim beat ya 2 seconds.
  • brayan_saboreh: @_ja_nn_ie we have good artists that don’t even trend lakini even Jesus was not welcome in his own hometown.
  • Westland Candy: They only have 69 and we have ethic, sailors and ochugulo hawaezi fikisha hizo views the whole year coz Kenya population is 47 million.
  • brayan_saboreh: 😂😂😂 kenyans are good in making other artists trend lakini hawapendi wa kwao.
  • Victor Macharia Kamau: Magix Enga what happened 69 has done it again😀
