COVID-19 Cases Rise to 3,457 in Kenya

Kenya has reported a significant increase in COVID-19 cases, with 3,457 confirmed cases as of Saturday, June 13, 2020.

According to Dr. Rashid Aman, the Chief Administrative Secretary at the Ministry of Health, the new cases were detected from 3,503 samples tested since Friday.

Dr. Aman emphasized the importance of taking measures to protect oneself, stating, "You can see these numbers are rising and that is a pointer that we need to take all the measures of protecting ourselves seriously."

Additionally, 57 patients were discharged on Saturday, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 1,221.
