Published on June 13, 2020, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has made a stunning reversal in his stance on President Uhuru Kenyatta. Speaking in Muranga, the MP praised the head of state for his efforts in uplifting the Mt Kenya region economically.
According to Nyoro, President Uhuru's job is 'visible for all to see' and he has done a 'good job' in terms of infrastructure development. The MP also commended the President for 'changing our lives and growing our economy,' saying he is doing a 'superb job.'
Nyoro's comments are a stark contrast to his previous criticism of President Kenyatta, whom he had described as a 'failed leader.' The MP had also been a strong supporter of DP William Ruto's 2022 bid, stating that if it wasn't for Ruto, the Jubilee party could not have won the election.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Nyoro has now urged President Uhuru and his allies to give DP Ruto his votes back and then chase him from the party. He argued that people should be given a chance to talk, associate, and make choices freely for democracy to build up the nation.
