June 12, 2020, marked a day when Luwi Hausa, the real name of Citizen TV show Maria actor Brian Ogana, found himself at the center of controversy. Screenshots allegedly from his conversations with other people made rounds on social media, sparking claims that he charges women for sex.
His girlfriend, Jacque Naisenya, has since spoken out, pleading with their fans not to pay attention to malicious people who are out there to tarnish their image.
“Enough is enough, and I think the time I need to speak out is now. You see… read along…. I live my life like anybody else, and people choose to write about mine and that one of mines. What they write, I can’t control when they write lies at least because the laws can’t really protect you unless you can prove malicious intent,” part of her Instagram post read.
Naisenya urged their fans to ignore the malicious people spreading fake news about them, saying, “The world is full of bad people that can do anything and everything to ruin someone’s life.”
Luwi Hausa, on his part, said it would take more than the online campaign to bring him down, posting, “Bringing me down will take more than just a smear campaign.”
Earlier, Ogana had claimed that his account had been hacked and the hackers were sending disturbing messages to his followers.
