Published on June 12, 2020, Nabayet, the girlfriend of singer Otile Brown, has revealed the challenges she faced in their relationship, including a surprise apology song and long distance struggles.
Speaking on Instagram live with Shaffie Weru, Nabayet shared that she and Otile Brown were not together at one point last year, and the singer released an apology song that caught her off guard.
‘It came as a surprise and it was very heartwarming and at the time we were obviously not together. We separated for a reason and I needed time to think about it. It worked eventually,' Nabayet said.
She also revealed that she has tried to end things with Otile Brown, but finds herself rekindling the love due to the strong bond they share.
‘Long distance is not easy at all and it has been the hardest experience. When you create that bond with someone, you'll have to fight for it,' Nabayet said.
‘We tried calling it quits so many times. People were always asking why we were not together. That was never the case, sometimes you are just tired of fighting,' she added.
The two love birds met in Australia after speaking on the phone for seven months.
