On June 12, 2020, Otile Brown shared his side of the story in an interview with Jalang'o on Bonga na jalas, addressing the long-standing rumors that he's faking his relationship with Nabayet.

According to Otile, the rumors, spread by Vera Sidika, portrayed him as a ruthless individual, making it challenging for him to date again. However, he found solace in Nabayet, who accepted him for who he is.

"My last relationship, things happened, and women believed that I'm ruthless, I'm a person who doesn't compromise," Otile said in the interview.

Despite initial doubts from Nabayet, Otile's persistence and genuine love eventually won her over. He even went as far as singing a song about her, which he claims is true.

"So when we first got into the relationship, she wasn't sure about it, like it didn't matter how much I tell her I love her, and that's why I went and sang Nabayet, whatever I sang on Nabayet is all true," Otile explained.

When asked about his love for Nabayet, Otile expressed his admiration for her, stating that she's a woman with no drama, who will never bother him. He also praised her for being the type of woman who will cry and move on instead of causing a scene.

"Because I don't think I have ever loved a woman the way I love that chick, coz she's a woman with no many stories. She will never bother you. She's that type of a woman, if you wrong her, she will just cry. So it was always a struggle, like so many times we are having the same discussion," Otile said.
