Published on June 12, 2020, Zari Hassan has welcomed Diamond Platnumz's recent efforts to reconnect with their children, ending a nearly two-year absence.

After the couple's breakup on Valentine's Day in 2018, Diamond stopped paying child support, but has since stepped up to co-parent with Zari.

Zari has come under fire from trolls who accused her of being desperate for Diamond's return, but she fired back, saying, 'A whole lot of you black women are the reasons kids are growing up without their fathers, roaming all over the streets because you denying them the chance to do what they are supposed to do.'

She also compared her critics to her four-year-old daughter Princess Tiffah, saying, 'Tiffah's four-year-old brain is a whole lot more mature and better than 50 people combined here.'

In a heartfelt letter to her daughter, Zari promised to protect her from negativity and encouraged her to stay true to herself, saying, 'Do you, don't let them tell you otherwise. 98% of the time, never take advice from failures.'
