Kenya has confirmed 121 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the country's total number of confirmed cases to 3,215, as of June 11, 2020.
According to Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe, the new cases were confirmed from 3,291 samples that were tested within 24 hours.
Out of the new cases, 92 are males while 29 are females, with Nairobi recording 49 new cases, followed by Busia with 37, and Mombasa with 20.
44 more people had been discharged, bringing to 1,092 the total number of recoveries in the country, with Health CS Kagwe thanking healthcare workers for their dedication and commitment.
Three more deaths were reported, bringing to 92 the number of fatalities in the country, with Kagwe appealing to all Kenyans to support each other during this time and work together to prevent the spread of the virus.
