Kenya's Covid-19 cases have been on the rise, with 121 new infections reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 3,215.
According to Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe, the government had tested 3,291 samples, with 44 more people discharged from hospitals, bringing the total recoveries to 1,092.
However, deaths have increased to 92 after three more patients succumbed to the virus overnight, as reported by Kagwe during the daily briefing in Nairobi on Thursday, June 11, 2020.
As the country grapples with the pandemic, the Health ministry has rolled out home care guidelines for Covid-19 patients, citing that 78 percent of positive cases in Kenya are asymptomatic and can be managed at home.
