Published on June 11, 2020, Dianne Bondy's story is a testament to the transformative power of yoga. At 45, she looks 10 years younger, and it's not just her age that's deceiving – it's her body positivity and self-acceptance.

Dianne's journey began at a young age, when her mother introduced her to yoga at just three years old. However, as she grew older, she struggled with body image issues, particularly after gaining weight at the age of seven. Her father's hurtful comments and criticism only exacerbated the problem, leading to a serious eating disorder that lasted until her thirties.

But it was the birth of her first child that marked a turning point in Dianne's life. Her doctor warned her that her lifestyle would affect her ability to have a child, prompting her to re-evaluate her relationship with food and exercise. She revisited yoga, but her experience was far from positive – she felt judged and unwelcome in a studio that was supposed to be a safe space.

That experience sparked Dianne to create her own yoga studio, an inclusive space where people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities could practice yoga without fear of judgment. Today, she's one of the most influential voices in the yoga world, using her platform to promote body positivity and challenge the status quo.

When asked about breaking the body image cycle, Dianne responds, 'Yoga taught me contentment, that everything I needed to make me happy already resided within.' Her words are a powerful reminder that true happiness and self-acceptance come from within.
