Published on June 11, 2020, Muthoni Mukiri's story is one of resilience and self-love.

Known for her flawless makeup and perfectly straight wigs, few people know that underneath that wig lies a short, natural hairstyle.

However, Muthoni's confidence was not always evident. Growing up, she was bullied for her pointed nose, a feature she once hated.

But in a remarkable turn of events, Muthoni has come to love her nose, and has even spoken out about the importance of self-love and acceptance.

On her social media, she advises, 'How we treat other people is a reflection of how we feel about ourselves. 'Hurt people hurt other people'. Lets learn to process our feelings so we can stop projecting our hurt to people who have nothing to do with it.'

She adds, 'When you love yourself you have alot of love to give. You become love. May our actions come from a place of love and understanding.'
