Redykyulass Trio to Reunite for Final Show ¶
Kenyan comedy legends KJ, Walter Mong'are, and Tony Njuguna, who made up the popular Redykyulass trio, are planning a final comeback with a special comedy show.
Speaking to Mwalimu Churchill on June 7, 2020, KJ revealed plans to get back on stage for a final kick off, if his colleagues agree.
"Why not. It will be awesome. A quick one-off show, we'll talk to Walter and Tony and if they are ready to step into their Redykyulass roles I'm in," KJ said.
Redykyulass was a groundbreaking comedy show that first aired in December 1999 and became the most-watched show in Kenya's history.
However, the trio later disbanded and pursued different paths in life, with KJ currently serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) of Dagoretti South, Nyambane as the director in charge of Youth Programs and coordination in the Office of the President, and Tony as a creative director for Scangroup.
Almost can't wait for the trio's special swansong.
