On June 9, 2020, Akothee, a renowned Kenyan singer and entrepreneur, made headlines after offering to provide everything for a lady willing to marry Martin, a man in need of support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Akothee's Facebook post, she was visiting Martin and decided to gift him with food donations to help him cope with the challenges brought about by the pandemic.
Akothee's generous offer sparked a wave of responses from dozens of women who expressed their willingness to marry Martin. Some of the women, including Ladasha Andrea, Violet Osio, Beckie Da Dally, and Immaculate Keys, shared their messages on Akothee's Facebook page.
Beckie Da Dally, for instance, expressed her desire for a loyal husband, stating, 'I know Martin can be loyal to his wife, no mpango wa kando since hataki kukasirisha bibi, so have been craving for a loyal husband surely can Martin be mine,,, ata nitakuwa namuosha.'
Immaculate Keys also expressed her interest, saying, 'Did u say provide everything and a job??? Ohh Martin am already missing you hun😻😻😻😻.'
