On June 10, 2020, rumors circulated that Mbosso Khan had blocked Tanasha Donna, but the Tanzanian singer has since clarified the situation.
According to Mbosso, he never followed up to determine whether Tanasha had blocked or simply unfollowed him, and he was unaware of the issues between Tanasha and Diamond Platnumz.
'I have never blocked Tanasha. I never understood whether she blocked me or unfollowed me. I have never understood why. I didn’t really follow on to know what the situation was. I have never been in an argument with her. I also don’t know her issues with the father of her kids. I only did a song with her and I thank God that the project went well.'
Mbosso collaborated with Tanasha on the song 'La Vie', and the two artists had previously worked together on a project.
When Diamond Platnumz visited Nairobi for the launch of Tanasha's EP, Mbosso attended the press conference but left the country that night, sparking speculation that Tanasha had blocked him in response.
However, Tanasha later revealed that she had blocked Diamond and those close to him in order to cope with the pain of her heartbreak.
Mbosso is currently promoting his single 'Haijakaa Sawa'.
