On June 10, 2020, Nairobi News reported on the impending exit of Rayvanny from Diamond Platnumz's record label, Wasafi Classic Babe (WCB). The Tanzanian musician has been rumored to be planning his departure from the label, citing an exploitative contract and lack of endorsement deals.

During an appearance on the Big Sunday Live Show, Rayvanny denied the rumors, stating, 'Before sijaongea chochote, Vanny Boy Wasafi for life baby. Lakini pia nijibu swali lako, niseme naishukuru sana management yangu WCB Wasafi. Namshukuru sana Diamond Platnumz kwa sehemu niliyofika. Nikiamua kuwa na label naweza kuwa hata na label hata tano. So there is no way kwamba nitoke Wasafi halafu niende kuwa chini ya label nyingine labda niwe na label kumi zingine za kwangu mimi,'

However, a source close to the situation revealed that Rayvanny's statement was meant to downplay the situation, and that his exit from WCB is inevitable. The source stated, 'Fans wanapumbazwa, but trust me, it's a matter of time before it happens. Harmonize also said the same thing 'Wasafi for life'. He eventually left. I was made aware of the reports long before it leaked to the public. This is bound to happen, it's just a matter of time, believe me on this,'

Rayvanny's potential exit from WCB is not the first time the label has lost a high-profile artist. Harmonize and Rich Mavoko both left the label due to similar reasons, including an exploitative contract and lack of endorsement deals.
