Angela Wairiuko Clancy, a 38-year-old Kenyan-born Australian, has made a strong impression on the 2020 Big Brother Australia reality game show, premiering on June 8.

With her outgoing personality and confidence, Wairiuko has emerged as an early favourite on this year's series, which has seen fans flock to Twitter to rave about her.

Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Wairiuko was raised in the affluent area of Nairobi, Kenya, known as the 'Beverly Hills of Kenya', before moving to Australia with her parents at the age of 17.

She studied Worldwide Enterprise and Commerce at the University of Notre Dame and previously worked as a youth support officer for the Department of Corrective Services.

Wairiuko's husband describes her as a 'smart ass', but she prefers to be seen as simply smart.

She has always been a fan of the Big Brother reality game show and has now auditioned for the Australian version, where she could win Sh18 million.

Should she win the prize, Wairiuko plans to pay off her mortgage and take her family to Japan's Legoland.

As one of the 20 housemates competing in the show, Wairiuko is known for her tough and funny personality, as well as her kindness and devotion to her family.
