Published on June 9, 2020, Gor Mahia's assistant captain, Joash 'Berlin Wall' Onyango, has denied reports of a potential transfer to Simba SC.
Onyango, a key player at Gor Mahia, stated that he has not received any offers from Simba SC, nor has his agent, Osman Ahmed, been approached by the Tanzanian club.
Simba SC's spokesman, Haji Manara, had earlier hinted at signing a Gor Mahia player when the transfer window opens in August, but failed to reveal the player's identity.
Onyango, who is under contract until December, expressed his willingness to negotiate with any club interested in his services, but emphasized that he is not in a hurry to leave the 18-time KPL champions.
"These reports are all over the media yet nobody from Simba has contacted me or my agent. I have not received any offer from them so I don't think I am the player they are talking about," Onyango told Nation Sport on Tuesday.
