Published on June 9, 2020, Tinder Passport has been a game-changer for users looking to expand their dating horizons. This feature allows you to change your geographical location on the app, so you can swipe and match with singles in any city you want.

Changing your location on Tinder is simple. From the ‘Settings’ or ‘App Settings’ screen, tap ‘Swiping in’ (Android) or ‘Location’ (iOS). Then, tap the option to “Add a new location” and enter the city you want to swipe in into the search bar. Select it from your search results and tap the blue banner to change your location.

Once you’ve done this, your profile will only be visible to Tinder users in that area. Your 5 most recent locations will be stored, and you can toggle between them by tapping on the city to change where you’re swiping. Tinder Passport does show distance, so your matches will be able to see how far away you are.

However, Tinder Passport isn’t free. You’ll need to invest in Tinder Plus, which costs 900 shillings a month for users under 31, and 1900 shillings for users over 31. Tinder Plus comes with a few more premium features, like unlimited right swipes, extra Super Likes, and a free Tinder Boost every month.

But is Tinder Passport worth paying for? If you travel and want to meet new people while at your destination, the location changer is likely worth the expense. It’s also a great option for users who split their time between two or more cities, as it allows them to keep their options open and explore their dating possibilities from other countries.
