As the Premier League season resumes on June 17 after a three-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic, Brighton fans are finding creative ways to cheer on their team.

Following in the footsteps of Bundesliga clubs, Brighton is allowing fans to purchase personalized cut-outs of themselves to be placed in the stands during the remaining five matches of the season.

The cut-outs, which cost £20 ($25) each, will be placed in the Amex Stadium, and part of the profits will be donated to charity.

However, fans won't be able to sit next to family and friends, as the club won't be able to guarantee specific seat placements or group arrangements.

"We are asking fans to don their blue and white matchday attire and send in their picture to be part of the remaining five matches of the season," the club said in a statement.

"With the last five games of the 2019/20 season taking place behind closed doors, the club is offering season-ticket holders and MyAlbion+ members the chance to purchase their own personalized cut-out."
