On June 9, 2020, the University of Nairobi appointed two acting deputy vice-chancellors, marking a significant change in the institution's leadership.
Prof Stephen Kiama, the Vice-Chancellor, named Prof Enos Njeru as the acting deputy vice-chancellor for human resources and administration, a position he will hold for six months. Prof Njeru previously served as the principal of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
