Kenyan singer Mbosso has been facing a tough time lately when it comes to collaborating with top artists. His recent revelation about being dropped from a collabo with South Africa's Sho Madjozi is just one of the many setbacks he has faced.
However, in an exclusive interview with Mpasho, Mbosso spoke about his failed collabo with Kenya's Sauti Sol, saying that their schedules were too tight to work on a project together. Despite this, he expressed his desire to collaborate with Sauti Sol in the future, stating that they have a great relationship and that he believes they will eventually work on a project.
"We were supposed to do something together but both our schedules were tight and I still want to do a collabo with Sauti Sol cause I know they are my brothers and I know they’ll agree so fans should not think that there are differences between us, maybe the time is not yet," Mbosso said.
On a more positive note, Mbosso has released a new song dubbed 'Haijakaa Sawa', which is about a typical African family and the challenges they face. The song is a reflection of the life that involves getting or not getting, and the situation that comes and one must hope that it will pass.
Like many other artists, Mbosso has been affected financially by the Corona pandemic. He had a couple of big money shows lined up in France, which he was forced to cancel. However, he remains optimistic that he will bounce back and has promised his fans big things in the near future.
"Please expect something good from me. I have good news. Anytime from now, I’ll be announcing something to my fans cause I have a gift for them. I feel like I have just started my year afresh," Mbosso said.
