ODM National Youth Coordinator Benson Musungu has been hospitalized at Aga Khan Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after testing positive for COVID-19, as revealed in a statement on his Facebook page on June 9, 2020.
Mr. Musungu's admission to the ICU comes just hours after ODM leader Raila Odinga cautioned Kenyans to be careful and observe the guidelines issued by the government.
Mr. Musungu had previously contested the ODM primaries for the Kibra parliamentary seat, which fell vacant following the death of Ken Okoth, but was unsuccessful in his bid.
