On June 8, 2020, the Registrar of Political Parties Ann Nderitu gazetted the removal of Moses Wetangula as Ford Kenya Party Leader.
According to the gazette notice number 3893, Hon Wamunyinyi was officially gazetted as the new Ford Kenya Party Leader.
Additionally, Josephine Maungu was gazetted as the National Organizing Secretary, replacing Chris Mandu Mandu.
Ann Nderitu stated that any person disputing the changes has seven days to deposit their concerns through a written submission.
Wetangula had earlier attempted to remove Eseli as the party's secretary general, but that move was unsuccessful.
