Vanessa Mdee and Rotimi's love story began at the Essence Festival, where they both performed. Since then, they have been serving fans with couple goals.
On her 32nd birthday, Rotimi surprised Mdee with flowers, balloons, and a cake, making it a special day for the couple.
Rotimi shared a heartfelt message on social media, writing, 'You deserve this my love. Had to come up with something while you were sleeping.' He added, 'Corona can't stop my baby from enjoying her birthday. Love you Queen. Had to figure something out. But she deserves the world. Best year of my life.'
Mdee shared a video of the surprise and expressed her gratitude, saying, 'He is my ULTIMATE gift, THE greatest blessing. GLORY TO GOD.'
Mimi Mars, Mdee's sister, applauded Rotimi's effort, saying, 'Happy Birthday ShMoneeeyyyy! Ro really surprised your smart self because we all know how hard that is.'
The couple's love story began after Mdee's breakup with Juma Jux, while Rotimi was in a non-serious relationship.
