Embakasi West MP George Theuri set to be arrested over the mismanagement of 2014/15 NG-CDF, nyakundireport.com has learnt.
This was necceciated by the complaint lodged by Concern Citizens Alliance, a lobby group in Nairobi, over the construction of a swimming pool in Umoja Primary School, Umoja Estate, Eastlands Nairobi whose costs were overpriced from an initial Ksh5 million to a whooping Ksh18 million.
This matter has caught the attention of the Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti who has called the leaders of the group to record a statement about the scandal.
‘Tomorrow the organization (Concern Citizens) Kenya has been summoned to appear before the DCI to write a final statement on the same by the officers of the DCI’, said Bradley Ouna, the Executive Director
Embakasi West Constituency received 98 Million Shillings CDF money in the year 2015/2016 from the national government.
