Woman Robbed After Boarding Private Car In Homa Bay

Three robbers were arrested in Homa Bay county after they robbed a woman Ksh. 8,000 and her personal items on the Kaito - Homa Bay Road.
The three identified as Fredrick Onyango, Ishamel Obong and Stephen Obonyo were arrested on Monday.

It is reported that they robbed Helga Musiga after she opted to board a private car due to the shortage of public transport vehicles. The three who were also on board the car are believed to have stopped the vehicle at Kadel area in Karachuonyo and then proceeded to rob her.
The woman was also left with several injuries after the incident. "I was ordered to lie down on the back seat before surrendering all I had. They took my money and phone and then abandoned me by the road." Police apprehended the suspects after tracking down Ms. Musiga's mobile phone which they had stolen.
