WhatsApp Users Will Not Be Able To Take Screenshots With This New Feature.

In an attempt to make your private chat more secure, WhatsApp, the leading instant messaging platform with over 2 Billion active users is currently in the process of adding a new anti-screenshot feature to its already end to end encrypted app.

According to a report by WABetaInfo - a website that tracks WhatsApp beta updates, the Facebook-owned company is working on an advanced security feature that will be able to block screenshots.

If introduce the new function will work alongside the new bio-metric authentication feature (which is still currently under development and might be rolled out for Android users in the coming weeks) to block the users from taking any screenshots during a chat.

The feature will prompt you to scan a fingerprint before taking a screenshot. This will make it harder for users to take out private chats inform of screenshots that might be used to completely ruin your life.

The report further adds that the update 2.19.106 will include new improvements for WhatsApp Doodle. The new doodle UI will allow users to put stickers over the images, videos and GIFs before sending them in a chat.

Doodle UI for the beta users is offering two tabs to choose between Stickers and Emojis. The stickers can be grouped as 'Favourites' and 'Category' which will help the users to find the stickers easily.

The feature was first spotted on the Android beta version app.

With no specific timelines, these features are also expected to be added on the iOS version in the near future.
