Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho has today spoken out on the idea behind the painting of buildings in the city into blue and white.
Speaking during an infrastructure project launch at the Mama Ngina Beach, Joho told Uhuru Kenyatta and his fellow delegates that he wants to make Mombasa City “Instagram-able” to foreign tourists.
He also urged the president to order all government officials in the area to stop being stubborn and allow for the government offices to be painted blue and white as well.
