"We Have Much More Important Things To Deal With" - Kenyans Furious After Government Locks Up 8 Ambira High School Boys
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
Kenyans on social media were furious after a court in Ukwala locked up 8 Ambira High School students accused of exam cheating and disrespecting Cabinet Secretaries Fred Matiag'i and Amina Mohammed.
The court ordered that the boys be detained for 7 days as investigations continue.
Kenyans felt that this move was highly unnecessary as this was just a matter of indiscipline which could have been sorted out without having to lock up the underage students. They further insisted that the government should be pursuing high profile criminals looting the country everyday instead of the young boys.
