WATCH: Huge crowd escorts Bobi Wine to Kibuli CID Headquarters
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
On Monday morning, a huge crowd singing and chanting “People Power” escorted Ugandan politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, to the Uganda CID Headquarters in Kibuli, Kampala.
The Kyaddodo East legislator was on his way to record a statement over recent accusations of “inciting violence”.
Just six days ago, Bobi Wine was barricaded and arrested by Ugandan authorities while on transit to one of the venues for his Kyarenga Extra concert that had been previously cancelled by Ugandan police.
