Dr. Mark Amo-Boateng, A Lecturer from University of Energy and Natural resources (UENR).
He has developed a Backup Power System called PowerTube from Old Laptop Batteries.
It is a unique way to deal with the tons of e-waste imported into Africa each year.
Instead of dumping discarded laptop batteries, Boateng makes them into a XXL versions of power banks that can last up to 10 years.
