As security officers conducted rescue operations at the Riverside Drive in Nairobi, former Kakamega Governor Boni Khalwale announced that his daughter is among the hostages being held inside the building.
Through his official Twitter account, he said that he was present at the scene and that his daughter was trapped inside the building.
