Coast Jubilee supporters have thanked Uhuru Kenyatta for his recent parastatal appointments in which 16 of the beneficiaries were from the Coast region. During a meeting at Tononoka Hall organised by Coast Jubilee coordinator Farid Swaleh to thank the president for the appointments, the members who were drawn from the entire county resolved to popularise Jap ahead of the next general elections. Farid who was among the 16 appointees said Uhuru had demonstrated his commitment in transforming the country’s economy and uniting Kenyans. He said Coast region residents are happy with the Jubilee administration development record. Farid who is managing director, Hisham Transporters reportedly played a crucial role in Jubilee campaigns at the Coast region in 2013 general election has been appointed a director at the Kenya National Shipping Line. Other beneficiaries included former KPA MD Abdalla Mwaruwa, Lamu politician Obo Ruweida, Naima Badhawi, Sureiya Hirsi, Malika Omar and Rosina Mruttu. Others are Omar Soba, Philemon Mwavala, Chilumo Chiwayo, Mathias Kea, Ndurya Gunga, Sauka Mruttu, Oda Hulufu, Bashuna Dido and Valentine Mwakamba
