The social media giant Twitter Inc. has written to users about disruption in service.
Users were unable to tweet, DM or get notifications.
It's sister app TweetDeck was also experiencing the issue.
'We've been experiencing outages across Twitter and TweetDeck. You might have had trouble Tweeting, getting notifications, or viewing DMs. We're currently working on a fix, and should be back to normal soon', TwitterSupport account wrote.
A few Kenyans have complained about the issue, some thought that they had run out of data.
