Tribalism and Nepotism at National Water Authority

National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority had for the last 20 years never promoted its workers. Despite workers acquiring more knowledge and skills through various courses, degrees and masters they still work as Clerks.

As to the promotions done by board and management on 18th February, 2021 has been bias as only one tribe is a beneficiary reason they come from the tribe of the CEO Sharon Obonyo, Chairman of Board Mr.Okeyo, Chairman of the HR Board committee Mr. Okebe.

In addition these promotions carry in them the aspect of interests where unqualified workers with no qualifications at all are fixed anywhere to serve the interests.

The management and Board have failed to apply fairness, qualifications and service as principles of promotions. Workers are crying faul due to this tribalism in this govt organisation.
