TRIBALISM — 11 Out Of 13 Members In The Kerio Valley Development Authority Hail From The Same Community
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
Just a few hours ago, it was revealed that the Kerio Valley Development Authority, acting against the Attorney General's orders, took a Ksh. 61 billion foreign loan and paid Ksh. 21 billion for a dam that had neither been designed nor the thicket cleared.
On further scrutinizing the board, another shocking revelation was made. Out of the board's 13 members, 11 are from the same community.
Jackson Kiptanui, David Kimosop, Dinah Chelanga, Getrude Kemboi, Gladys Korii, Haron Koimur, Tom Letiwa, David Komen, Amos Ndalutt, Nixon Kiprotich, and James Yatich are all Kalenjins. It is quite unbelievable how so many people from the same community managed to secure appointments to the same board.
This is what Kenyans had to say on social media after National Super Alliance [NASA] CEO Norman Magaya shared the information.
