Thieves Break Into Oburu Odinga's Home & Steal All His Chicken

A gang of thieves in Bondo town broke into Oburu Oginga's home and stole more than a thousand chicken. Oburu blamed the incident on the rising rate of insecurity in Bondo and has asked relevant authorities to move in quickly and arrest the culprits. Speaking to a local Kenyan daily, Oburu said, “The insecurity situation in Bondo town has soared to high levels. The thugs raided my home and made away with all the chickens in my farm. They also raided the home of the nominated member of the Siaya county assembly Tabu Osewe and also stole all her chicken stock, including other valuables,” Criminal activities in the area have been frequent including murders and robberies. with thugs butchering a man just a few days ago and dumping his body in a dam. A previous incident had also been reported in the area where thugs killed a young man in front of his family members as they were enjoying their evening meal.
The former member of parliament has now asked the government to beef up security in the area before any more damage is done.
