The Rot At Great Rift Shuttle — Poor Customer Service & Mishandling Of Parcels
Newsroom Updated 2 min read
Mr President, please conceal my Identity. There's a lot of rot going on at the Great Rift Shuttle, especially matters regarding parcels.
There are lots of people here at the Mfangano office stranded their parcels missing.
My first encounter with these guys was in November last year. My mum sent me some luggage from Eldoret to pick the following day. I came to pick but did not find it. After a week of follow up, it was traced with a number of stuff missing. Meaning somebody had taken his/her share. I raised a complaint it wasn't addressed.
On Sunday, my mum, again in her right senses, sent me some luggage using the same shuttle. I am at their office right now they cannot trace it two days on. Worse off they say, they did not give her a receipt coz they only file in their system on matters parcel so no paper work.
One guy tells me we try and check with Easy Coach to see if its there. I ask him, is it your other office? He says 'Tunaeza kuwa tulikosea..' Really?
Now look, people are stranded here. And the luggage that has arrived is being used as a sitting bench by some staff members. Say if something was sent to you, say fruits, eggs or something delicate, you find it in tatters coz somebody comfortably sits on it while dispensing his or her duties. Really President? Till when? Isn't this total carelessness and conmanship? Or how do we call this?
