The Man Who Sealed His Ears When Meru University Students Shouted

Mwangi claims to be anti-corruption Champion and reformist but has sealed his ears as ''Professor's'' Magambo and his partner in crime, Gitonga Mburugu Blunder Meru University. James Mwangi Believes being chancellor is only cememonial and has never advocated for students rights. When former President Mwai Kibaki charteered various university colleges to full pledged universities, he thought that would help many Kenyans by making college education accessible to all Kenyans but he never knew some of these institutions would be the breeding grounds for the culture of impunity.

James Mwangi is the first chancellor of the recently chartered Meru University of Science and Technology and his silence as impunity and corruption rocks the university is deafening. We are fully aware Mwangi threatened to quit as Meru University Chancellor because of protests that had become too much but later opted to stay put hoping that the situation would normalize. Mwangi once donated 100 Million to Meru University and said he hoped that his donation would help evolve and develop a model university. What happened Mr. Mwangi? Did you give up on Meru University? Are you aware that the University has now become the tower of impunity and graft? Why are you not saying anything as all this happens?

Are you aware that early 2015 Meru University VC professor Magambo redeployed an honest internal auditor who had been exposing his corrupt ways and replaced him with his unqualified nephew? Impunity at its best.

Are you aware that in September 2015 DVC ARS Prof Gitonga Mburugu and his Concubine - Deputy Registrar Examinations Madam Lilian, frustrated the Deputy Registrar- Admissions until she resigned unceremoniously?

How can James Mwangi assume that he has not read the latest auditor general's  report that has exposed corruption, Trendrepreneurship and procurement scandals in Meru University? Mr. Mwangi, at the end of the day we will be judged by our silence when people needed to hear from us. Your silence might be Mistaken !

We are all aware President Uhuru listens to Mwangi and he can even request to president to do something about these nincompoops masquerading as academicians yet they are scums of the earth. We are sure Magambo and Gitonga can be GO if Mwangi condemns and demands that something is done.

The two disgraced professors have failed Meru University big time, and it is time to act. We understand that you may be busy dealing with Tax evasion scandals in Equity, but that doesn't mean that you can't say something about the Meru University corruption.

Has James Mwangi requested the relevant authorities to investigate and stop the culture of impunity in Meru University? It is time for Kenyans to wake up and condemn this corruption because the cost of crime affects all of us.
