The Curse Of KCG 784M — The “Nganya” That Keeps On Killing Passangers
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
On Wednesday afternoon, a flashy matatu KCG 784M plying the Mlolongo route was involved in a grisly road accident.
This might have been passed off as just a normal accident but keen Kenyans on social media once again reminded us that the internet truly never forgets.
Self-made Twitter FBI's quickly ran a search into the archives and gave a very interesting observation.
The matatu has now been involved in three different road accidents on different routes. The owner quickly gives it a quick paint job and the coffin on wheels hits the road once again.
The first accident happened along Lang'ata Road. By then, the matatu was plying the infamous Rongai - Nairobi route. Four people perished on the spot and many others were left injured. The second and third accidents happened on the matatu's new route, the Kitengela Mlolongo road. Kenyans are now asking questions on why this accident magnet keeps getting back on the road despite being impounded several times.
Who owns this killer matatu and why is he untouchable?
