TALA Loans bites humble pie, begs clients to pay loans

Exactly last month, nyakundireport.com wrote about how Tala loans is struggling to get back its money lent to Kenyans after the Central Bank Of Kenya locked out over 330 unscrupulous mobile lenders from listing Kenyans on Credit Reference Bureaus (CRB).

Well, after their incessant calling, where one is called by over 50 numbers per day failed, Tala has now gone slow on that strategy and from 3 days ago, nyakundireport.com has learnt they are now sending message with reduced amounts to repay.

"I had a loan of 28566, but now Tala has reduced that to Sh23,000 flat, removing the interest', said a client of Tala who wrote to nyakundireport.com.

Cnyakundi.com saw the above message and confirm it is happening.

The incessant calling of clients was a bad move. I hope Tala is not going to start kidnapping clients who have delayed paying their loans.

It will be hard for them to collect those monies back given that the CRB is off the table.
